Is A1Brainy free to use?
Yes — creating an account and entering competitions is completely free.
How is my score calculated?
You earn points for every correct answer, and that is the whole formula. There is no speed bonus — answering faster will not raise your score, so accuracy is all that matters.
Can I retake a competition?
Only where that competition has retakes enabled. Retaking puts your existing score at risk: the points you already earned there are taken back before you replay, and your new score stands even if it is lower. If you are happy with what you have, keep it.
How do ranks work?
Your rank is based on your cumulative score across all competitions. As you accumulate points you advance from Rookie through to Legend automatically.
Are the quizzes really based on the video?
Yes. Every question is written specifically around the video content. You genuinely need to watch it.
Is there a mobile app?
A1Brainy is fully responsive — it works on any device through your browser. A dedicated app may come in the future.
